The Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (BUP) Region Dalarna offers specialized care for children and adolescents up to 18 years old with more severe mental health issues and/or neuropsychiatric disabilities. There is now an opportunity for you as a licensed psychologist to join our team at the BUP reception in Ludvika.

Our area of operation is broad and encompasses issues such as trauma, depression, self-harming behavior, anxiety, compulsions, eating disorders, sleep disorders, and neuropsychiatric disabilities, such as ADHD and autism. We work cross-professionally to provide the best assessments and care for our children and adolescents. BUP Region Dalarna consists of five outpatient clinics and region-wide resources with an emergency team, ward 68 for inpatient care, a family therapy unit, and an eating disorders unit. BUP Region Dalarna is currently undergoing a transformation journey, where we are developing our working methods to meet future needs in child and adolescent psychiatry.

The BUP reception in Ludvika is located at Ludvika Hospital. The reception has pleasant premises in a calm environment. Here, a warm, cheerful professional team works with nurses, social workers, psychologists, doctors, occupational therapists, medical secretaries, and a manager. Your Role

As a psychologist with us, you will work with:

• Neuropsychiatric assessments of children and adolescents in collaboration with other professional categories
• Assessment of mental health issues within specialized psychiatry
• Psychological treatment, primarily CBT, individually and possibly in groups
• Participation in team conferences and collaboration with guardians, schools, and other stakeholders

Requirements:

• Licensed psychologist
• Previous experience working in teams and experience working with children and adolescents
• Experience in psychiatric assessments as well as treatment and investigative work
• At least CBT level 1 training (basic psychotherapy training)

Desirable:

• Psychologist with specialist training
• Licensed psychotherapist
